A Journey Through Central America and The Caribbean

There is something really special about learning about different places in the world. There is so much to learn about the people, the food, the geography, and culture. Many of us would love to hop on a plane and fly around the world, but that is usually not realistic. This is a big reason I created this booklet. I want my kids to get a small glimpse of the world that is out there and hopefully be inspired to visit some of those places someday. I hope this resource is helpful and enjoyable for your family! This booklet will guide you through every country in Central America and The Caribbean. Each page includes the following:

• the country’s motto.

• the country’s flag to color.

• a map to locate important landmarks of that country.

• a map of Central America to locate that country.

• a place to draw something you might see there.

• blanks to write the capital population, languages, natural resources, and religions.

To fill out the information in this booklet, you can use resources you have at home such as books, the internet, maps, magazines, and videos. I have also included a page with book recommendations that you may want to add to your home library.

This booklet was intended to reused as a family learning tool for ages 5-12, but younger and older kids can certainly benefit from the packet too!
